Persuasive writing read and write exemplars

These persuasive writing read and write exemplars are a great way to help encourage students to work through key persuasive writing skills. Each of these are themed around a different persuasive writing prompt, showing an exemplar, success criteria or rubric for students to read and identify before writing their own to match. 

These cover four different persuasive writing prompts: 

• should school have more playtime
• should students have more homework
• should students learn to cook
• should students spend more time outside

These cover Year 3-6 and match to the New Zealand curriculum knowledge and practices for how to persuade.
