NZ English Curriculum Assessment Tracker with heat mapping areas

This resource was created for to keep track of student learning against the progress outcomes for the 2025 New Zealand curriculum. This could be used in many ways to support learning in your classroom and assessments that you take. 

Each sheet is year group based and includes the progress outcomes across the English curriculum with oral language, reading and writing strands, sub strands and progress outcomes. These include a space for student names on the top and then check boxes to tick off or track for that student. There is also a space for teachers to write a comment about the assessment, trends or noticings for the class. 

These have drop downs that you can select with the area of achievement to see progress over time and can use this for looking at trends, areas of achievement and goals to work on.
