Area and perimeter freebie

This maths activity is a great way to explore area and perimeter with rolling a dice and filling in the grid to cover the area or solve the perimeter. Students need a dice to roll for this activity. 

There are a few variations - to play for area or perimeter, roll a dice, play with a friend or spin a number and use that to cover the area. Students can colour the area and then work out the perimeter to match.
