Place value expanded form craft

This craft is a great way to engage students in place value and expanded form. This helps students expand a number with either tens, hundreds and thousands to create their own flip number craft and space to expand the number. 

This resource has a simple write the number, expand the number and create the flip place value for tens and hundreds; then a slightly more complicated version for thousands including place value houses and draw the place value.
