Make a word

This activity is great for students to practice their spelling, decoding, sound mapping and more!

This resource includes a range of sounds included that students choose between to make their words.

Each page has a key sound in the middle of the circle which is the focus sound.

Then students use the sounds around the outside plus the middle sound to make a word.

each sound page comes in two variations.

One with a recording box on the bottom and one without.

There also is a separate recording page that has a box for real and made up words.

Students can use either variation of the activity.
