Kia ora! I am Mrs Priestley from Mrs Priestley's ICT. I have been teaching for six years with experience in New Entrants, Year One, Two, Five and Six. My passion really is with the younger students, primarily Year One and Two. In 2018, I have been lucky enough to do some CRT Teaching (Classroom Release Teaching) in Year Five and Six lifting digital literacy and competency. This really is what I love.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Education which I received in 2011, and then completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in 2012. Since then I have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Practice (Digital and Collaborative Learning) in 2017. I am currently undergoing a Graduate Diploma in TESSOL and Graduate Certificate of Information Technology in Education (both due to finish end of 2018) and just started a Masters of Contemporary Education due to finish 2020.
My other smaller achievements range from becoming a Seesaw Ambassador, an Apple Teacher, Hapara Champion Educator and Google Trainer. Basically anything and everything ICT related I'm interested in!
Personal wise, I am married to a fabulous man Curtis, and have a seven year old daughter Arabella. When I'm not in the classroom or making teacher resources I love going for walks, watching movies and cooking! My favourite food is burgers.
I can't wait to connect with you.
